Job Title: Site Manager – Hotel Fit-Out

Reports to: Project Manager / Construction Director
Job Summary:
The Site Manager will oversee all on-site activities for a hotel fit-out project, ensuring work is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards. This role requires strong leadership, excellent organisational skills, and proven experience in delivering high-end hospitality projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day site operations, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to project plans.
- Supervise and coordinate subcontractors, trades, and suppliers.
- Monitor progress against schedule and take proactive measures to resolve delays.
- Ensure quality control measures are in place and all work meets design specifications.
- Enforce health & safety regulations and conduct regular site inspections.
- Liaise with the Project Manager, design team, and client representatives to ensure effective communication and problem-solving.
- Oversee delivery and storage of materials, ensuring minimal wastage.
- Prepare and maintain site records, including daily reports and progress updates.
- Resolve on-site issues promptly to avoid disruption to the program.
- Support commissioning, snagging, and handover processes.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Site Manager or similar role on hotel fit-out or high-end interior projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications.
- Competency in project scheduling and site reporting.
- Relevant qualifications in construction management or a related field.
- CSCS, SMSTS, or equivalent safety certifications preferred.
