This role involves assisting with surface preparation tasks, including the use of scabbling tools to remove old paint, coatings, or debris from surfaces in preparation for further work. The candidate will be expected to work safely and efficiently alongside other trades, following all safety protocols and instructions to ensure a smooth workflow. This position is ongoing, providing a stable employment opportunity, with salary negotiations open to experience and expertise.
- Previous experience as a general labourer or in a construction environment
- Valid SafePass certification is required
- Full PPE to be worn at all times on site
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Good understanding of health and safety regulations on site
- Physical fitness and the ability to handle physical tasks daily
