This role is pivotal in overseeing the technical aspects of construction projects, ensuring that site operations adhere to project specifications, safety regulations, and quality standards. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing on-site engineering activities, supporting project managers, coordinating with subcontractors, and maintaining accurate documentation throughout the project duration. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Construction Engineer looking to contribute to high-quality residential developments while working on a contract basis for two years.
- Proven experience as a Construction or Site Engineer within residential construction projects
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies, health & safety standards, and building regulations
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Excellent communication and organisational skills to coordinate with various stakeholders
- Experience with site management, problem-solving, and decision-making on the fly
- Relevant qualifications in Civil Engineering or an equivalent discipline
- Availability to commit to a 2-year contract and flexible working conditions
