This role involves overseeing the setting out and on-site technical support for construction projects, ensuring that all works are completed accurately according to engineering specifications and plans. The successful candidate will coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and design teams to facilitate smooth site operations, manage technical issues, and ensure health and safety compliance. You will be responsible for conducting site surveys, utilising CAD tools for planning and setting out, and adhering to project deadlines and budgets.
- Proven experience as a Site/Setting Out Engineer or within an engineering role on construction sites.
- Excellent proficiency in AutoCAD or similar CAD software.
- Valid CSCS Card is essential.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and documents accurately.
- Flexibility to adapt to project needs and varying site conditions.
