Link Force is currently recruiting for a skilled Setting Out Engineer to join an ongoing and substantial project in Bristol. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting out works involving accurately translating complex engineering designs onto site, ensuring foundations, structural steel elements, pads, trenches, drainage inverts, and equipment skids are precisely set out with clear offset pegs. The role requires reading and interpreting multi-disciplinary engineering drawings, technical specifications, and 3D/BIM coordination models to facilitate smooth and accurate execution of the project works.
- Must possess a valid CSCS Card
- Proven experience as a Setting Out Engineer on similar projects
- Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings
- Experience working with 3D/BIM models and coordination platforms
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
- Good communication skills to liaise effectively with the project team
- Awareness of health and safety protocols on construction sites
